TV TIME!!!

Instead of finishing up all the technical magic that would allow us to post our columns on our own server, I choose to watch T.V. instead.

For no particular reason I was fascinated by the game show network. Here I found people I didn’t even knew were still in show business. Here are some of my favorites:

1) The guy who was Will Smith’s cousin on the “Prince of Bel Aire” did some sort
of show that was like poker. I wonder why Will Smith doesn’t give this guy a job
in one of his many blockbusters. That’s what Adam Sandler does with Rob
Schneider.

2) The guy who did the old 80’s dating show. I don’t remember
the name of the show or the guy who did it…I just know he has a really big
forehead.

3) The sidekick from the “Tool Time” show. Again, why doesn’t
Tim give him jobs in his blockbusters? Is the main star that are jerks, or were
the sidekicks jerks back in the day? It just seems weird that folks can work
together for years and then the famous one never gives the sidekick a job…except
Adam Sandler.

4) Why doesn’t Tom Hanks give his partner from “Bosom
Buddies” a job? By the way if anyone from the game show network is reading
this…I think he needs a job.

5) And last but not least…DONNY OSMOND!!!
This one really floored me, considering he is the greatest ROCK N’ ROLL LEGEND
of all time!!! Maybe in ten years Ozzy Osborn will be hosting “Wheel of
Fortune,” or better yet…Jeopardy! That would be great…nobody would ever know
what he was asking.

In conclusion, I concluded that the game show network is filmed from Branson, MO.

One more, but its not a game show…the guy with the big towering column shaped afro from the “house party” shows was on a B sci-fi movie…that just seems funny to me…but I’m glad the not so famous folks can get employment thanks to the thousands of channels on cable.

But what about me? I’m mildly entertaining. Doesn’t that qualify me to get a cable talk show? Well, cable guys…I’m waiting for an offer.

And now you know.

COMING NEXT: That very scarry dream!
